INTRODUCTION to the pelleting process is taking a material and with heat and pressure reforming it into a pellet. This process densifies the material which increases the bulk density allowing for more weight density in less volume. When a material is being pelletised it needs to be below 15% moisture which means that most of the water weight is gone out of the material making it a better material to begin with. By pelletising it, It reduces the water weight even more leaving you with a denser drier product. This process also densifies the nutrients for better feed and fertiliser. The main benefits of the Pelleting process are better nutrient management, cheaper delivery costs, easier digestion, extremely high absorbency, and many more. The 3 different cat litters are completely sustainable widely availably grown materials barley and grass.
